What data may be uploaded

The demo panel on this site accepts document uploads (PDF, PNG, JPEG, or WEBP files) that you choose to submit — for example invoices, GST documents, KYC forms, bank statements, contracts, or receipts. Only upload documents you have the right to share, and avoid uploading documents containing other people's sensitive personal data unless you're authorized to do so.

Whether documents are stored

As implemented today, an uploaded file is read into server memory for the duration of a single extraction request and is not written to a database or persistent storage by DocumentsAI. The file content is sent to Anthropic's Claude API (see below) to produce the extraction result returned to your browser.

Note for legal review: Confirm and formally document server, edge, and hosting-provider log retention (including Vercel platform logs) before making a hard "we do not retain any data" claim. This page describes what the application code does, not the full infrastructure stack.

Whether documents are deleted after processing

Because uploaded files are not written to a DocumentsAI database in the current implementation, there is nothing on our servers to separately delete after a request completes — the file is discarded from memory once the response is sent. If document storage is added in a future version of this product, this policy will be updated to describe retention and deletion behavior accurately before that change ships.

Third-party APIs that may process data

Document content you upload through the live extraction demo is sent to Anthropic's Claude API for processing. Anthropic's own privacy and data-handling terms govern how they process that request. We don't control and can't make claims on Anthropic's behalf beyond linking to their published policy.

Contact and demo request form submissions are sent by email through Resend, an email delivery provider, to reach our team's inbox.

Note for legal review: Review Anthropic's and Resend's current commercial data retention and usage terms and summarize the verified specifics here (retention window, whether prompts are used for model training, etc.) rather than relying solely on a link.

Contact form submissions

The contact/demo request form on this site submits to a server-side endpoint, which sends your details by email to our team using Resend, an email delivery provider. Submissions are not written to a database — the endpoint only relays the email. The email's reply-to address is set to the address you provide, so any reply goes directly to you, not through DocumentsAI.

Requesting deletion

Since uploaded documents and form submissions are not stored in a DocumentsAI database today, there is typically nothing to delete on our side. If you believe we hold data about you — for example from a direct email exchange — contact us at the address above and we will address the request.

Note for legal review: If persistent storage, analytics, or a CRM is introduced later, add a concrete deletion process and response-time commitment here, reviewed against applicable law (e.g. India's DPDP Act).
